February 11 - 12, 2012 The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire welcomes a cast of hundreds of colorfully costumed characters annually to bring our 35-acre village to life! The castle gates swing wide Saturday, August 4, 2012 to a sea of guests, eager to immerse themselves in the fantasy of days gone by. Come join the magic! Bacchanalian Cast  The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is seeking 35 Female and Male Actors for their 32nd season to portray interactive Elizabethan characters in a cast that will perform Shakespeare, Commedia, Stunts, Stage Combat, Improv, Music Shows, dances and more! Auditions take place Saturday and Sunday, February 11 - 12. Call backs are held the same day. Bring a headshot and resume and prepare a one minute monologue and 16 bars of an a cappella song. If you play an instrument, please bring it with you!Dates & Details: $250/wk starting with Housing provided. Rehearsals start July 11. Performances run from August 4 through October 30, Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day Monday with Educational Days mid-week in October. Auditions are by appointment only. Applicants should have experience backstage either as deck crew or stage management, as well as familiarity with working in a scene shop. Employment dates are early May to Thanksgiving, with possible extension to Christmas. Housing is provided on-site. Interviews are by appointment only.
